Our customers pond in Chiswick, London was leaking and needed re sealing.
The choice was made to Fibreglass the pond so we carried out the following works;
- Set up an aerated holding tank
- Drained the pond
- Put all fish and wildlife into the aerated holding tank
- Clean the pond thoroughly
- Sand down the pond to remove any imperfections and debris
- Remove all debris from pond
- Cover and leave to dry
- Seal the pond using 2 layers of 450gsm resin coated matting with a black top coat to finish off
- Cover and leave to dry
- Re fill pond and put all fish and wildlife back into pond
The above process will give you a leak free pond or water feature for many, many years.
